Color Throwdown

Hey everyone...are you ready for some happy colors in spite of the cold snap that's trying to convince us it's not spring?  Lori has a great color combo for this week's Color Throwdown Challenge - light aqua/mint, orange, red, yellow - inspired by this darling outdoor wreath!  Here's my take on it...

I sat down Sunday afternoon to create for this challenge and had a major creative roadblock! I think this was the 6th attempt at different designs that just didn't work out to suit my anal brain.  Let's hope it's not a brain malfunction that will hit me very often. :-/  I kept it clean and simple - also not typical for me - and went with this sweet wreath from Concord and 9th's "Love you, Mean It" stamp set.  SU inks used: Real Red, Tangerine Tango, Daffodil Delight, Pistachio Pudding, Chocolate Chip.  I layered up die cut flags - Tangerine Tango, Pistachio Pudding and White Stitched Fishtail Flags STAX Die-Namics by MFT.  Some twine and enamel dots finished it up.

Our new guest designer for April is the talented Amy Rohl of Ink About Me!  Welcome, Amy!

Congratulations to our guest star stamper - Toni Maddox!  Be sure and visit her blog - Frankie Helps Craft - and say hello!

Anal brain, LOL! We're in the same club then because I'm the same way. Your card is wonderful! The way you created the wreath with the pops of color and your sentiment flag looks very pretty.
